Our Alluvial Selection showcases the structure and superior terroir of our vineyard. The upper blocks of the vineyard sit on volcanic deposits from the Vaca Mountain Range. These deposits form an alluvial fan, a unique geological feature that gives us well-draining, rocky soils and low yields of small, extraordinarily flavorful berries. The wine delivers mouth filling, sweet dark cherry across the palate with an earthy complexity. Vanilla and spice from the toasted oak round out the luxuriously long finish. Balanced tannins give structure to the juicy fullness of this wine that should age beautifully for 20+ years.
